Have you heard of Ann from Glücksgeist?!?
She’s quite amazing and quite possibly the sweetest blogger/human being I’ve met through the bloggingsphere! Between her DIYs, delicious food recipes, beauty and more recent fashion posts, Ann literally does it all! And not only am I saying this because she nominated me for this tag, WHICH SHE CREATED HERSELF, but you should seriously go follow her because you certainly will not regret it. Thank you Ann for nominating me as well as for all your support and inspiration! x
Ann recently created this tag, in the hopes of sharing her obsession for sunflowers on her blog and wanting to spread a bit more appreciation and happiness around the Internet.
“Because sunflowers are making me so happy, I really wanted to share and spread my happiness with you. Going out and buying flowers or finding some on a field is such a nice little thing. We should appreciate the little things in our life and that’s why I decided to create this tag,” Ann wrote.
And as I’ve been meaning to get around to this tag (which I often don’t do many of lately), I found it quite fitting to share my appreciation for the little things in life, especially with everything going on in the world today!
- Share the logo of this tag (the sunflower picture)
- Thank the person who nominated you and share their flower picture
- Share your flower picture
- Tell us one thing that made you happy today or tell us your flower story
- Nominate as many people as you want
My Flower Story
I must admit, I am not a big fan of flowers. I know that will be very hard for many of you to comprehend, as pretty much every girl is obsessed with flowers. However, for one, unlike many others, flowers remind me of things that are not so pleasant (due to my OCD). Second, I never grew up in a house where flowers sprouted to add that little accent to rooms because the majority of my family is allergic to most flowers. Instead, we had plants and greenery and therefore, I grew up loving greenery. I’m obsessed (if you couldn’t tell) of tropical vegetation and little succulent plants.
Being that we are sharing the “little” things in life that made us happy today, the mere fact of life and health makes me happy. Sure there are things going on around me/things I am involved in that are not the happiest of things, however, at the end of the day I need to take a step back, look at things from a different perspective and just be grateful for God, that my life exists as well as the lives and the health of my family and friends.
P.S. As I am appreciating the little things in life through this pose I am sending my thoughts and prayers to the people of Houston and all those that have been affected by the recent Hurricane. May God bless you all!
