Apologies for being rather M.I.A. from the blogging world for the past few weeks! Sometimes I think we need to take a step back from our lives in order to recognize why we love what we do so much! Therefore, to start things off, we’re dedicating today’s post to the lovely WordPress community. So a major thank you goes to the beautiful Jamie of Don’t Give a Jam for nominating me to participate in the Blogger recognition award. Not only does Jamie have a great blog, but she’s the epitome of why this online community is as loving and supportive and it is today. Loads of love to you Jamie! xo

My Advice To You
Dear new bloggers, old bloggers and any blogger in general,
As I’v mentioned in my previous post, I am in no way shape or form a blogging guru, however, as I’ve written for this blog for over a year now, there are several things I’ve learned and continue to learn that I wish I knew before I began blogging.
For one, there’s nothing better than having family, friends and other WordPress followers on your side, rooting for you and your blog to succeed. This may be easy as family and friends are typically quite supportive of the things we do in life, but when it comes to WordPress, it is extremely important to GET SOCIAL! That’s right, find blogs that you love and can relate to, leave comments and connect with the people behind the words! Trust me, it will make blogging ten times as exciting.
With that being said, when the spark of light seems to have dulled in your blogging journey, I highly recommend to take a step back and reevaluate what it is you want with your blog. Recently, I’ve taken quite the break for blogging as I am unsatisfied with my content. I felt as though I have lost track of why I started this blog and where I’ve dreamed of it going, and found myself posting things just as clickbait. Therefore, my only solution was to stop blogging, put my content into perspective and plan to make the changes to achieve a blog that I AM HAPPY WITH. Always remember, there is always part of you who is writing this blog for yourself just as much as you are for other to read! So, always stay true to yourself and stay motivated!
Being that I dedicated this blog to the lovely WordPress community, I want to nominate any of one reading this as a thank you for allowing me to achieve something I’ve always dreamed of. Thank you for those who have followed me on this blogging journey from the very beginning and thank you to those who just joined in! So PLEASE do not be shy! Participate in this award because every blogger, big or small, deserves this recognition!
