For nearly the past two years, fashion blogging has become part of my lifestyle. It is no longer merely a hobby, rather this very blog has become a piece of me; a piece that I hold very close to my heart as it’s the only space in this highly saturated world that is uniquely my own.

At it’s very core, is the purest representation of who I am, what I believe in and how I present myself to the world. It’s a place where I can escape, be myself and share all of my fashion obsessions with each one of you.

With that being said, one of my favorite sections on “ciarralorren” is that of the “Travel” section, as I get to share my style and my life on more of a personal level. It also allows me to share my personality as there is something so empowering about standing in front of a camera and feeling the most beautiful, the most confident you have ever felt in your entire life.

However, like most bloggers you (my lovely readers) merely see the photographs and posts, which are polished time and time again until I feel as though it is perfected to my standards (As a perfectionist, this is very high lol). Therefore, I wanted to share with you all of the photos that were never published as they did not depict that “perfectly blogger” picture.

A majority of these photographs are not flattering by any means, however, if I want this blog to truly represent who I am in reality, then they are important to share as they tell the story of how much fun it is to take photographs for my blog with my best friend, Beatriz Freitas.

Clearly, photo shoot days are filled with loads of laughter, odd faces made by myself and even some yelling from Bea, whose constant aim is to maintain my focus throughout the shoots. Needless to say, we have quite the experiences and ones I will forever cherish. I hope you enjoy! Xo.

P.S. Thank you Bea for being so selfless and patient with me in achieving my dreams. But most importantly, thank you for always bringing out the best in me and for all the laughter we share. These photos would not be nearly as comforting to take without you! Loads of love to you girl!

P.S.S. To all my followers, I hope this post inspires you to love you for who you are, to never be afraid of being too silly (clearly, I am not), and for doing whatever it is that makes you happy!

  1. I can definitely relate to being a perfectionist. Even now if I go through my blog, I will start analysing and wanting to edit photos. These ones you have shown are great though. You are beautiful, I love your style and your blog offers something different to other ones I have seen. x
